A lovely vintage sterling silver oval locket, beautifully decorated to the front with an ornate hand-engraved scrolling leaf and floral design. The engraving catches the light beautifully, with a decorative patterned border around the edge.

The reverse is clearly stamped “STERLING SILVER” together with the maker’s mark JAM and additional hallmark punches. The locket has a classic hinged design and is suspended from a fine silver-toned box-style chain.
